Angles between Curves – After Kandinsky
2012
Research-based design practice ‘Angles between Curves’ creates tactile, interactive and performance textiles for product and environment. In this installation we showcase a selection of our shape-memory, luminescent and sensory pieces to create a vibrant collage of textures and up-cycled materials.
Our inventive approach integrates our expertise in people-centred design and materials development. We address human need by exploiting the sensorial and the functional qualities of materials, fusing psychological and physical considerations to maximize both performance and experience.
Our London-based practice works on private and commercial commissions, offers consultation on design research projects, and runs material workshops. Our clients include architects, occupational therapists, psychologists, materials scientists, and industrial design engineers.
